The White Tower
Library is widely considered to be the largest and most complete archive
of humanity's knowledge in the known world. It is administered by the Brown
Ajah, famous for their scholarship and research. The Browns have collected
a copy of every manuscript they could obtain and preserved it carefully
so that the knowledge of the past will be available to future generations.
However there are limits to what even Aes Sedai librarians can do and much
knowledge has been lost throughout the centuries. Because of these losses,
whether due to war or misfortune, the librarians are very protective of
their books. Sometimes it is easier breaking into a king's treasure vault,
than borrowing a book from the Library.

Novice and Accepted
are allowed to submit a brief five hundred word essay on a topic of their
choosing as a requirement for raising. Interested parties should contact
either the Mistress of Novices or the Mistress of the Library
